Amy is a copywriter at MetaMed Marketing who works closely with the copy manager to produce articles, press releases, and other writing-based tactics, as well as copy for clients' websites. She brings skills and experience gained while working in various content marketing roles over four years prior to MetaMed. Her interests led her to start her career as an editor for a publishing house, crafting online business directories and tourism ads.
Originally from the small Caribbean island of Barbados, Amy studied English literature, French, and Spanish at sixth form level there, earning an associate's degree in modern languages. She furthered her education in the following years, receiving her bachelor of laws degree with honours from the University of the West Indies in 2014. She later moved to Toronto, Ontario, seeking to broaden her knowledge of business while exploring new career opportunities. She went on to attain her diploma in marketing from Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology.
