As an account manager, Lindsay handles creative aspects and administration of web development projects and online marketing campaigns for her impressive roster of clients. Her innovative concepts are often rooted in her experience in analytics-driven strategic planning, staying glued to current trends, and deep engagement funnel models. Lindsay is certified in Advanced Google Analytics (2019) and in Google Ads (Search - 2020).
Lindsay joined the MetaMed team in 2016, with her background in the Canadian music industry, where she worked as VP of Artists & Repertoire for SonaBLAST! Records Canada for more than five years. While there, she further developed an already strong marketing foundation from having worked as assistant marketing director for two large commercial properties in Toronto, and as a market research analyst, trend-spotter, and photographer for an extensive market study on youth culture conducted at SXSW 2009 in Austin, TX, for a boutique advertising agency.
Prior to her work at the record label, Lindsay had built a solid reputation in the music industry with more than half a decade's experience in artist development and project management. Lindsay has been a guest speaker and panel moderator at the Canadian Indie Week conference, a regular juror for government-funded FACTOR grants, and a guest lecturer at Durham College for their Music Business Management program. She also has a strong background in photography and design and was educated at both York University & University of Toronto.
Lindsay enjoys photographing subjects for fine-art prints, rock climbing, reading, cooking and she travels extensively. She also comes from a family of creatives. Her filmmaker brother regularly works alongside major advertising agencies as a commercial director, and both her mother and her partner are professional musicians and educators.
